SadePomppa is a dog raincoat for year-round use. The waterproof and durable shell fabric protects the dog from rain, wind and dirt. The lining is made of smooth anti-static material which repels dog hair and debris.

The thin, non-insulated raincoat works as an all-purpose coat for dogs with thick fur. For cold-sensitive dogs, SadePomppa works better as a raincoat for warmer weather. The unique design ensures that the coat protects the dog’s back, neck, abdomen, and rear end without restricting their natural movement. Also, the simple design guarantees a good fit for all types of dogs, and is quick and easy to put on.

SadePomppa can be used individually as a raincoat, but it also works as an excellent shell jacket over a thermal layer, like JumppaPomppa. The light materials allow the coat to pack up small, so it’s easy to carry along for all kinds of adventures.

Pomppa-takkien koot vastaavat koiran selänpituuden mittaa senttimetreissä, oikea koko valitaan ensisijaisesti koiran selänpituuden mukaan. Koiran mittasuhteista, karvapeitteen paksuudesta tai takin käyttötarkoituksesta riippuen oikea koko voi kuitenkin olla koon suurempi tai pienempi kuin selänpituuden mukainen koko.

Oheisen kokotaulukon mitat ovat tuotteen äärimittoja. Huomioithan, että takin materiaalien paksuudesta johtuen, tuotteen vyötärönympäryksen on suositeltavaa olla hieman koiran vyötärönympärystä suurempi, jotta takki istuu mukavasti koiran päälle. Koiran mittasuhteista riippuen takin vyö ei välttämättä asetu aivan koiran vyötärön kapeimmalle kohdalle.

Huomioithan, että RePomppa-tuotteen kokoa ei välttämättä löydy mittataulukostamme, sillä Pomppa-koot ovat uudistuneet vuonna 2018. Voit lukea uudistukseen liittyvän blogijulkaisun täältä.

Materials

• Lining: 100 % nylon

Care instructions
• Gentle machine wash 30 °C
• Do not use fabric softener
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not iron
• Do not bleach
• Wash with similar colors

Water-repellency treatment

The shell fabric is finished with a DWR treatment, which keeps the fabric water-repellent. After washing the product, the DWR treatment must be reactivated. It’s done by heating the product in a drying cabinet, tumble dryer or in a sauna at 60 °C for a few minutes. The reactivation can also be done carefully with an iron at low heat and with a towel in between. Too much heat can ruin the DWR coating.

The DWR treatment also wears off over time. The product should be re-treated after water no longer beads up on the surface. The water-repellency can be restored using waterproofing products available at outdoor supply stores. Always follow the instructions found on the coating product’s label.

Note that the water-repellency does not affect the fabric’s water resistance. If the fabric gets saturated with water, the coat is still waterproof, but the moisture doesn’t evaporate through the fabric as effectively.
