New CEO for Pomppa

Noora Eerikäinen has been appointed as the new CEO of Pomppa starting from June 1st, 2023.

The winds of change are blowing across the Pomppa team. Noora Eerikäinen has been appointed as the company’s new CEO, starting from June 1st, 2023.

Noora will assume the role of CEO from within the company. She has been working at Pomppa Oy since 2018 and during this time she has held the roles of Sales & Marketing Manager and Development Manager. – I have been part of Pomppa’s story for more than five years and I know the company and its operations like the back of my hand, Noora describes.

– The role of CEO feels like a natural transition within the company. My predecessor Minna Hyrsky has done a great job as the company’s first external CEO, and I’m excited to continue this work by taking the Pomppa story to the next level together with our great team, Noora adds.

Meri Alku, the owner of Pomppa, is also pleased with the outcome. – I feel that Noora taking on the role of CEO is the only right continuation to Pomppa’s story, she says.

AT THE DOORSTEP OF A NEW ERA

Pomppa Oy has just turned 15 years old and the company is now at the doorstep of a new era in many ways. Despite the challenging global situation, Noora and Meri see much positivity in Pomppa’s future. – The further development of our product selection, digitalisation and distribution channels bring us huge opportunities. So, there is still plenty of work to be done, but every step we take will take us in the right direction, Noora and Meri sum up.
